As part of its efforts to support judicial decision making in domestic violence cases involving children, the Supreme Court of Ohio has recently published a bench card that relies heavily on the Safe and Together Model.  Part of the Ohio IPV Collaborative, the Supreme Court of Ohio has been consistently supportive of Ohio’s child welfare system becoming more domestic violence-informed. This guidance, along with continuing training of child welfare staff and others in the Safe and Together Model, will help improve outcomes for children and families impacted by domestic violence perpetrators behaviors.
